I've got a 3 meter slab of silky oak that's around 30mm gooey and 400mm wide. It is slightly sick and I want to straighten it. Does anyone know how to do that without mark the timber?

Answers:    If it warped side to side you will hold to re saw the board. If it warped the frontage (cupped), you will have to clutch out high spots near a surface planer. You will end up beside a flat 20-25mm thick board.
