i love steampunk style. gents. but need proposal. i would like my segway x2 turf to appear more stempunk. i enjoy replaced most of the digital panel with dated gauges from steam spout regulators. but not sure what to do with the rest. does brass spray paint purely seem tacky-ness? i am kinduv out of planning here, but have plenty of inspiration-room.

Answers: hey. it sounds similar to you're well on your road to having a really distinctive mod there.
brass spraypaint is kinda chintsy and liable to trim off, I would recommend going to your local hardware store and picking up some brass sheeting (pricey, but worth it) and adjectives it to fit around all the largest exposed parts of your segway. you could also build a new platform next to some nice hardwood and detail it with brass or copper tubing (also from your local hardware store).
also (this is conceivably a bit crazy) but how about wooden wheel??
