I have toro sprinkler valves that hold 4 screws on top of the cover. I have changed a sprinkler head and tried to test it by slit the bleed valve. When i closed the bleed valve it will not shut stale unless I turn off the main wet supply. when i turn on the water supply again the zone starts up again.

Answers:    make sure you enjoy the bleed screw in all the agency snug.
toro valves are very finicky and low characteristic for that matter.
toro was apposite about 20 years ago. their newer stuff has slipped a flawless bit.
if you cannot fix it, replumb in a new spigot.
use a Hunter or an irritrol vavle for the best quality.

toro valves are hairy . help yourself to the butt of a screwdriver and keep tapping the spigot ,moving around until you find the sweet spot .to avoid further trouble ,find a way to add alittle bleach to the chain BEFORE THE VALVES. preferably ,if you have one ,into the top of the pump ,spigot. toro valves own lubricated solenoids and this will keep everything lubed up.
