I have "faux" panelling surrounded by my dining room made with ornate MDF molding and a chair railing applied over the dry wall and painted so that it looks close to wainscoting. I left a vinyl-topped card table orientated against the painted MDF for a month or two over the holidays before I finally get round to putting it away. To my dismay, when I pulled the table away from the wall, the vinyl had stuck to the paint and pulled a big chip out - adjectives the way down to the MDF! The paint is at smallest 2 years old. How do I fix it minus it being manifest I patched it?
On a similar note, I applied some vinyl packages to a wall above my bed and as I was crumbling away the backing of the post, some of the underlying latex paint came away beside it. Would I fix that chip the same path, too, even though it is not on MDF?
And is there something roughly vinyl and latex paint that doesn't mix, that I should be aware of to avoid problems like this surrounded by the future?

Answers: Fix the texture with a vinyl patch product resembling fast and unforced from dap . then pilfer a chip to the paint store to match color. Sorry but a faux finish on MDF is close to a chandelier in a trailer.
you can draw from different color paste essentially paint but it's kind of approaching glue. take the color you need later fill contained by the hole with a mop of the paing glue stuff.

you can't notice this unless you way of walking up to and and look really really hard
