How do I fit a hip bath 1700 mm long into existing breach simply 1680 mm ? I am replacing my bath suite. The current hip bath fits snugly...

I am replacing my bath suite. The current hip bath fits snugly into the 1680mm space. All the new baths I enjoy seen are 1700mm. Can I still fit this surrounded by my bathroom by perhaps chasing out plaster by 10mm respectively end? And is it later going to be necessary to use terracotta quadrant tiles as a surround to cover the 'join' between the bath farthest point and the plaster before seal with flexi silicone?

Any other option or advice for fitting a hip bath into 'too small a space' ?

Or is it just a satchel of not being an way out to fit 1700mm bath at adjectives, and will I need to purchase a made to method 1680mm bath (costly selection!) ? Quarts and Pint Pots spring to mind!! :-)
