I bought plans off the Internet for a hen house so I'll own a better place to put my hens, but the plans have no materials or cut detail and it assumes that I have some experience next to building and construction. This is my first building project ever.

Answers: Your best bet is to try not to do it yourself there is alot more to it than meet the eye.
Your best bet is to take your blue prints to your local lumber courtyard (Not Lowes of Home Depot, despite what the commercials say, I hold yet to find any profesinals that work near.) They all own estimators. They can tell you what you stipulation and how much it will cost you down to the last peice of trim. Minus obviously Plumbing, Electical, and HVAC
