I put in a hole within our pergo floor and it is chipping away... How can I fix/fill it without replacing the entire strip of lamenent?
Answers:    You don't enunciate how large the hole is. However, you do enjoy a problem. laminate flooring is either tongue contained by groove with bonding agent (old type) or snap together (new type). Either way you enjoy a seam that is attached and replacing it is difficult to utter the least.
I would attempt to use a similar colored putty steep, mixed with a clear epoxy bonding agent. The putty fill will solidify if mixed next to the epoxy but you have to work honourably quickly within order to win the stuff into place before it tries to set. Mask around the hole, do your mix, and pack in beside a thin, impressively thin, putty spreader. When the mix is almost set, remove the mask, and very scarcely remove the top layer of the steep.
Then when it dries, use the finest steel wool you can to smooth it out, avoiding the finish around the fill.
That is the best impression I can offer, I did a particularly small hole that way one time, but it didn't work really adjectives that well because of color similar. Ended up with a small non slip hearth rug over it because it was close to the counter. However, the flood did set and the chipping did stop. Was easier than trying to remove the laminate strip, support under its edges so it would not "dip" and next attempting to glue edges together.
Would be at hand are some laminate guys out there who own a better idea. Hope so.
