How can i net a stiff paintbrush stern to conventional?

If it's a cheap brush, don't bother. If it's a good one, you can try Polyclens though it hasn't impressed me much. If that doesn't work, there's some stuff I only just used from an art supply store which worked really well. It's Winsor & Newton Brush Cleaner & Restorer. It might bring some time--I soaked some paper towel contained by the stuff, then wrapped it tightly within tinfoil and let it sit for a week or so, but it took adjectives the hard dried polyurethane out of a brush I have almost given up on. It looks expensive but it rescued a $15 brush for me. I don't know what's in it but it say non-toxic, low vapour and adjectives that good stuff. If you can't find it locally, try an online art supply place similar to Cheap Joe's, where the price of this stuff is course better than I paid locally.

If the bristles are stiff from paint or stain, you can try soaking it surrounded by paint thinner overnight. Then try washing it contained by warm soapy marine, wearing gloves.

Chances aren't real upright that the bristles will be restored to normal, especially if it be a cheap brush.
