Answers:    if you are looking to use the loft as a room you will entail to get building regulation approval and possibly plannign permission since doing so, if you are just putting a floor down to make it easier to store things up nearby i would suggest the tongue and groove chip board made specifically for the job you can get it at any of the big diy shops but i generally find wickes are the cheapest for basic materials
