Does anyone have any accepted wisdom on how to kill weed using a home made substance??

Go online to pbs.org surrounded by the search box type surrounded by lawn keeping, answers will pop up choose natural weed slaughterer. You can also google it for a quick answer but produce sure to try it out on a small area first. I hope this help
I wouldn't be using homemade concoctions as you can do irreputable mar to the soil and it may leach into your neighbors' property.law suit.
You didn't articulate if you are just trying to massacre weeds within favor of other plants or to kill everything.
A lower toxic road to clear large areas of weed only is clear plastic sheets over the ground, protected so it won't blow away and let the sun overheat out the weeds.
