A big one. I've only seen one cockroach up to that time in this apartment, months ago, and my cats happily kill it before I even knew it be there. I keep it quite clean, and the closet seems similar to a weird place for one to end up...

Anyways, regardless of why or how it's here, how can I kill it? It's in a bleak place for crushing(on the corner of an air filter in a box within the closet) and I hate trying to crush them anyways. If he runs he'll escape into a bunch of boxes and clothes and stuff and I won't be able to find him slickly. I put my cats in the closet to see if they'd go after him but he's not moving and I don't wanna craft him move. In the meantime I've stuffed some jeans under the closet door so he can't get out

Would it be worth it to gain a cockroach trap/poison to put in my closet? I guess there could be more of them. I don't usually let my cats near the closet so they couldn't take to it.

p.s. "Bygone" (spray),too,but.he's toxic,i suppose you kissing your cats,so ...it's a dirty job for ...them,cold climate is another...route + clean kitchen(!always!)...as expected
