We could not find an exact match to the existing house brick so we have to go for 2 shades dark. I know after time it will fade but I was hoping in attendance was some bearing of making it fad a bit quicker.
No, there is nought you can do about it. Just use it and put a bush surrounded by front of it to hide the difference.
To my experience the colorant in brick is mixed right into the mix so you will hold to use something like muratic tart to get it to fade. This can be a dicey material to work next to. Acid will burn your skin and if you breath it in it will burn your lungs. Wear a facemask and long gloves. Make sure ther is nought below your work area that will be harmed by tart and have baking soda primed to deactivate the acerbic in defence of a spill or if you get it on you.
You can also brush buttermilk on the facade of the brick and it will start to grow lichen on it in a short term of time if your surrounding brick is very weak. This may be safer.
Answers: nil you can do for aging but the muriatic or hydrochloric acidizing process is very commonly confused for aging. You can try that but only do so if you know that it hasn't be through it already because it can harm the wall. Also, dont do it yourself
