I'm trying to hang my framed sculpture. I noticed that the sculpture doesn't hang flat. Part of the corner is curved away from the wall. It's distinguishable. I think the frame is bent. I've tried to straighten it out but I'm inept too.

I was thinking nearly hanging the sculpture and tape the side that curves away down to the wall. Of course folks won't see the tape. But I necessitate really, strong tape. Any suggestions? If cassette is not the solution, let me know. The sculpture is really huge 43" x 43". So, I'm not interested in spending a great deal of money on buying a new frame. Thanks.

If you are going to maintain the painting near for a while I would cut a few slits in the drywall where on earth the frame is bent. If you can get it to lye surrounded by there it should lay flat. As long as you don't produce a huge hole in the drywall you should be capable of spackle easily if you desire on a new picture.

Are you floppy the painting beside more than one nail? If you use two or three points of nouns with the wall, you will force the frame to lay more flat. You can also tighten the line for a little added benefit.

You could also try Velcro-type pieces to hold the corners to the wall. They come surrounded by all sizes and you can cut pieces to fit your problem.

Answers:    If the frame is not prudish or water-damageable, a good solution would be to submerge the frame alone surrounded by water for a year or two, then bring it out and lay it on a flat surface underneath something large ample to press it flat over the course of another few days to a week. Woodbending can be difficult, but it can be done, and it is more sensible than putting a hole in your wall to counteract a bent frame.

If you're discussion about the slant you take when you hang a frame, powerfully that's just commonplace. When you hang a frame, the top will stick out further, looking slightly down. Use two or three hooks to droop the frame and they will pull it closer to the wall.
