how do you get a bleak odor out of hardwood??
ive mopped it numerous times, the smell just won't come out. It;s a mixture of elderly dog pee, and animals. Something inexpensive please.
are you sure it is within the floor and not the walls?...put your nose to work...

You can try Oxi Clean, available at most department and grocery storesBleach will coppers the color of the wood.
I need a moment or two more information
Is it real hardwood or the strong pressed paper variety
What kind of hardwood is it, Oak is resistant to smells and pine absorb them
How old is the floor.

There are some other things close to TSP, you can try
If I had more info I could recomend something better

Answers:    Bleach it with Oxalic Acid. You obligation to be careful beside it though because it is toxic.
Here's a source for it:

This won't bleach the wood the same mode that Sodium Hypochlorite based bleach will, it is far better for the wood.
