Hanging curtain rods short detrimental the wall? In my apartment we're not allowed to pocket down the plastic...
In my apartment we're not allowed to pocket down the plastic shades, so I was going to verbs them up all the route and hang curtains contained by front of them, but we're also not allowed to net any holes in the wall. The stiffness rods that go inside the skylight probably wouldn't work since the plastic shades will be in the bearing. I could put the curtain panels and sheers surrounded by under the shades, but I would at smallest have to put the scarf valence surrounded by front of the shades. I was thinking of something resembling this: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.d... but it won't be long enough since within are 3 windows right subsequent to each other and I required to put in one rod for the intact thing. Are near bigger twist & fit style rods, and/or something close to a command hook that could adhere the rod to the wall?
Wow , I never saw those before. I've also never hear of a landlord not allowing curtains to be hung. Do you enjoy drywall walls? If so, I would just use regular curtain rods, and when you move, patch the holes beside plaster. If it's paneling, fill them near wood putty.

Answers: Hello Janis.What you do is this- Buy three command hooks(fairly big). Put one contained by center of window at top of porthole frame.Put one at each extension of window frame at top,plus say-so 4" each side of frame.Buy a piece of wood dowel from hardware or timber shop all along window to fit on hooks.Or buy a piece of the rod near a plastic coating(white) they sell for cafe curtaining.Put up rod on command hooks.Make your curtains near a tab top.So your curtain will have a loop of material at top.Slide curtains on rod.If you want to open during morning,just use a tie-back on your curtains,no have need of to move the actual curtains.
