Grounding a house? the cable man said that my outlets in the house are not...

the cable man said that my outlets in the house are not grounded, so no cable tv for me...dont you ground a typical house where on earth the service enters the house, you know a copper pipe jamed into the ground next to a wire connecting to the service pole
Answers:    Depending on how frail your home is, they didn't really have "grounding". In elder homes that are not updated, they have two-pronged outlets. So yes, they be not grounded. In "newer" homes, whenever a new installation or clean panel is put in, a copper ground rod is install within the ground in the nouns approx. in the close to location of where the panel is. The ground rod is 8 foot long and is driven adjectives the way into the ground. If you look outside where on earth your service entrance cable goes into the house,(the lead that comes from the pole into the house), Check to see if there is a green or open to the elements wire coming from the panel and going through the house to the outside and into the ground. If you enjoy a friend who knows a short time bit about it, he might know how to help you next to this. Feel free to contact me through IM or e-mail. Good Luck and I hope all go well!!!
Call Your ELE> service Company and own them check it most will check it for no charge and if they tell you your hause is grounded the name the cable company back and consent to them know what the installer said chances are he in recent times did not whant to do the install
