Does anyone know how to dry the Gooseneck gourds? Is there anything special that have to be done to them so that they do not decompose? Thanks!

Gourds entail air to properly dry. Lots of nouns. So if you pick your gourds early, DON'T put them some place where on earth they will not get pious air flow, approaching in a vault or a small room.
Gourds will dry out in the weather newly fine. No, it won't hurt them to get drizzly from rain, nor will it hurt them to freeze. Yes, a knotty freeze will kill the vines and leaves, but grown-up gourds will do just fine. Commercial growers don't pick their gourds from the field until they are fully dry. Gourds are dry when they are very muted in immensity and the seeds jangle when they are shaken. Gourds that are left on the vine to dry, freeze off much better and seem to be to be of much higher standard than gourds that have be picked while still green.
REGARDLESS OF WHAT ANYONE TELLS YOU, DO NOT SCRAPE A GREEN GOURD IN ANY WAY TO FACILITATE DRYING.
