Glue for Perspex, or other mode to fix it to flat surface? I have 2 pieces of solid Perspex, and I wat to use...

I have 2 pieces of solid Perspex, and I wat to use it on the sliding doors of the warderobe, I tried different glues- but any glue I use is showing through the perspex. I don't infer I can use beading as it's usually quite tacky and I don't have too much space between 2 doors when they slide over one another.
Is there is any bonding agent that would hold it in place and wouldn't show through or any other thinking on fixing it to the door?
Thanks
Answers:    Certainly the first answer is completely valid. I have to wonder why nearby is no molding in place to instigate with.

Without any detail roughly the depth from the face of the piece to where on earth the fill piece rests; really there are varied styles of molding that might fit; and be flush; or at least allow for a nicer finished look. 1/4 round is sold within 1/4 inch. Others are sold with a 90 point angle that might fit into the depth and act as a finished looking frame.
