I have a cloudy attic and i want to bring in neutral. i thought about taking the vent out and installing windows but i requirement to vent the attic and i dont really want to bother with a ridge vent. so is here a gable vent that i can put in that i can adjust to tolerate in desk light ?
I want to Install a GFCI oulet outside....
Answers:    You can have electrical lights contained by your Attic Ken H is talking out of but. within is nothing crooked or dangerous. I would not alter the vent system within your residents. There needs to be cross airing in you attic - It will also increase the natural life of your shingles. I would consider having an electrician install some lights mounted below the rafter. You maybe competent to tap stale an existing circuit already in your attic - depends and the current available and the amount used on a circuit - that would be allot cheaper than an entire bright circuit.
