I have a aluminum storm door and adjectives the weather stipping has come sour and has a one inch cleft on the top of the door, to keep out the dirt and bugs I would approaching to put something up but I dunno where to start... what brand of material should I use, should I freshly use a hot glue gun to assemble it together? I know I can do it, I a short time ago have no impression on how... any help?
Answers: If that is to say a one inch gap adjectives the way across the door... youve get the wrong size door.
If that is a one inch aperture at one side, or the other, at the top of the door, then it requirements to be adjusted so that it is square.
I'd insist on against using a hot melt epoxy resin gun, as the glue will liquefy during hot weather, or sunshine.
Replacement weather stripping can usually be found at most hardware, or building supply stores.
Post or email some pics to me, and perhaps I can donate more specific advice.
