I'd like to disconnect the dryer vent in the winter so it disharges into the garage, not outside. Moisture and lint are a problem as expected in the garage. Is there an jammy way to get the fry without the byproducts? Thanks.
They make an attachment for your vent hose that have a door that opens and closes so you can direct the heat into the room or outside. It have a lint screen for venting inside. Had one a few years ago. Not unblemished, but it did help. stand in front of it
to be perfectly honest, the amount of btu's that exhaust from a drier vent is not enough to keep hold of a bowl of soup warm in a garage. You would be wasting your time and money arranging this. On top of adjectives this that moisture is a byproduct of carbonminoxide and in no state or town would this meet any local CODE. There is a lint trap element for sale at Home Depot around $15.00.It's just a small container next to a 4' nipple to hold the flex exhaust hose. Inside the container u fill it with hose. It's called a indoor dryer vent. The warm nouns is what u want to warm the garage...am I correct?
Answers: You need a warmness exchanger. This is a box like item with coils or fins that attaches to the dryer vent. It have a small fan mounted in the vertebrae and blows your heated up garage air from around the coils back into the garage and the moisture and lint elapse through the coils to the outside.
