Does a thermostatic radiator spout requirement to walk on a focused side of the radiator?

Yea, its needs to stir on the intake side otherwise how would it control the temp.

Im only guessing mind.
If you own any doubt about it then fit them to the incoming (flow) pipe. This is the one that get hot first. Then you can't go wrong.
The reason is so that it shuts past its sell-by date the water before it have a chance to warm the radiator.

Maks sure that you enjoy the water inlet pipe connected to the underside of the washer. If the incoming water is coming within to the top of the washer it will never lift and the valve will be ineradicably off. Most have an arrow on the pipe coupling block.
Answers:    Every one off mine is situated on the right
hand side and every one i enjoy ever seen
is on the right, same with the bleed screw.
In the past they own always been installed on the transport pipe. But the latest units articulate you can put them either end. I enjoy just put one on the out end and I am not rewarded that it works as well there. I am going to amendment it round next time I have to drain down The fitting instructions will explain to you as some are suited to the flow, some to the return and some are either!
Most modern TRV's can be fitted on any end (flow or return) and can be mounted either horizontal or vertical. I still fit them on the flow (pipe that get hot first) unless the flow to the rad is in a tight corner. Most valves will enjoy an arrow on the body of the valve indicating direction of flow into the valve. Hope this help nowadays you can fit them to either side, flow or return,
i customarily fit them to the flow which is the one that gets hot first. you can fit them vertically or horizontally depending on space or "whichever way you infer looks nice" it does,nt affect performance.
im a builder and have allways fitted them on the right ..at lowest possible that is what my plumber does !
