I just literary how to crochet. I know how to do just the essentials and have never followed a template. My goal is to manufacture a hat or booties for my nephew. I want to to practice following pattern by starting off near a clear pattern that shouldn't bring too long. For example I DON'T want a blanket because that would take too long to complete and I simply want this to be a practice. Please direct me to some website or just bestow me the pattern.

If you hold some important tips to oblige crochet a regular pattern that would be great!
