Hi there! im building an aviary for my birds , it will hold a metal 4ml frame , i would like to attach plywood panel on to the frame with self drilling screw, i don't own a screw gun and i was wondering if a power drill would do the livelihood please advice , thank you

You should be able to put self-drilling screw in, but any time you drill into metal I would support you to drill pilot holes. I used to work in a panel shop, and when self-drilling screw came along we found out thoroughly quickly that they be not as good as advertise -- we still ended up drilling pilot holes.
