Cover up front steps? My husband and I have tried everything to remove the paint...
My husband and I have tried everything to remove the paint on our front steps that are concrete. Nothing have fully worked! This might sound a bit strange but is in attendance something that can j be applied, glued... to the concrete that will cover it up and in truth stay on? Some sort of veneer or anything else. It really looks absolutely awful. No comments on how to remove the paint (stripper, power clear up...) we've done it all.
Answers: You could consider using a non slip frost proof tile, or consider have some thin stone facings cut to size and bond to the concrete using glorious performance cement. Good Luck
I don't know if this fits with your plan, but could you apply a surface coat of stucco or mortar over the existing painted surface?
