why not..i in reality saw something that looked like a croc shoe that was a cell phone holder at a store not long..it was kinda funny.just manufacture sure the shoe is clean I say do anything next to them except put them on ur feet.
Cell phone holder is a great idea if u can find some small satisfactory =)
