Concrete resufacing? How to resurface my garage floor? How to brand garage floor smooth? My garage floor is concrete, it is old, cracked and pitted. ...
My garage floor is concrete, it is old, cracked and pitted. I have need of to make the floor smooth withOUT breaking and repouring the concrete. I would also approaching to do this with out raise the height of the floor more than 1 inch. After the floor is smooth I will paint beside epoxy garage floor paint. - - I tryed putting down a thin echelon of vinyl patch concrete, about partially inch think, which as expected cracked and didn't adhere intensely well,, I am very soon chipping off adjectives the vinyl patch and NEED HELP. Is there anything that I can purely pour over the surface? I read some answer about using Quikrete, would that work? I am NOT concerned going on for the long run, I just necessitate a quick assured fix,, if it lasts a year thats appropriate enough. The cracks are not more than an inch low. thanks!
pop chalk lines every 12" going both ways, making a grid. now drill 1" holes on every intersection, something like 1" deep. bring back rid of all the dust and wreckage. acid dry-clean with muriatic acerbic. now resurface beside portland cement, pure! - no aggregate! one inch thick. consent to this cure at least 72 hours past you apply the epoxy. i think you will find this will closing longer than a year. GOOD LUCK!
Any surfacing that thin is going to crack solid bad and soon! I suggest wadding in the cracks next to a concrete patch to get it smooth. One that will expand and shrink beside hot or cold without cracking. Then after its smooth, paint over it.
Ive pumped concrete for roughly speaking 8 years and thats the only road i can think of lacking breakin it all out and startin from score.
Answers: Use a concrete top bond and paint beside rubber paint
