Hey guys London house still access points where coal was dropped through into the crypt unfortunately mine were removed. I would approaching a replacement does anyone know where I can find these covers.
Answers:    a tricky problem you have. Is the access on your property or on the public highway?
Was the imaginative cover of architectural interest hence the reason for its theft ? If so, will you want or be compelled to replace beside a suitably ancient artifact, or can it be a modern replacement, say steel checkerplate, flame-cut to size ?
If it has to be 'in character' near the age of the property, then architectural salvage firms are the main source of a replacement. Look surrounded by your 'Yellow Pages' or online. One of the biggest is in Cambridgeshire, but there's bound to be one or two in London, probably abundant more. You might even fine your very own 'coal-hole cover' sitting on a dealer's shelf !
If a modern replacement is acceptable, after make a careful template from stiff/corrugated cardboard, to exactly fit the opening.
Again, using YP or the internet, look for architectural engineers, blacksmiths, steel stockholders who cut to size etc. Find the nearest and ask them if they can cut steel checkerplate to size and shape. Its the steel plate used for decking, and have a raised pattern embossed into the surface. When cut near plasma jets, the edge is drastically neat and will need scarcely any extra work.
Good luck.
