i am replacing a ceiling fan, the existing wires from ceiling are :-
3 red to 1 terminal of a block connector, 2 earth, 2 red and one black with a some red insulating cassette, which connects to the fan comprising of a connected red & brown, a blue and obviously the earth? several thanks

The certainty that you just described the factory electrics block on the inside of the light gear connection on the wrong side of the lover indicates you have no impression of what you are doing when it comes to electrical work. However, it is also my experience that people who enjoy no idea on how to do electrical work verbs on their own way of trial and error and usually appendage up calling my company after 1/2 their house has no power and immediately will cost them twice as much as if they just call me in the first place. After you blow up that supporter and if you are still alive call a certified contractor and enjoy them do it for you.
