While I was vacuuming the runner in a upstairs hallway, the vacuum suddenly started unraveling the carpet, seem to have lift off a seam. It is something like 3' long by 1/2" wide. I hold no extra carpet here, but save the thread. Any ideas on how to repair the defacement? Thank your for all the support as always.
Answers:    You must own Berber carpet. I can solitary tell you what I did surrounded by a similar circumstance, not that it is the best thing to do, but it worked out for me. If you own a glue gun, and you are creative and hold the patience, you can paste it back down. Yes it is somewhat distinguishable...mine was...but unless you want to hire someone to come contained by and stretch your carpet and re seam it...those are the solely 2 options that I can come up beside. To have someone come contained by and re seam is a little costly, but you will hold a professional result when they are done. Berber can be notorious for this.
Same article happened to me. It must be a berber carpeting.

Good piece you saved the thread. A well brought-up carpet band (call around) will be able to come out and "reweave" and hopefully "erase" the ruin. I understand that it is a adjectives problem and an experienced carpet pro will be capable of work wonders.

Leave this one to the pros.
