Answers:    Depends on the fan, I be able to translation out a motor on one from inside the home, others I had to go and get in the attic. There is predictable a ventilation pipe attached to it within your attic and you will need to be in motion up there to replace the entire follower.

yes it can be changed in the bathroom i lived within an aptment building were nearby was no attic lone cellar and they come and changed mine so i am sure it can be done isn't it in approaching a metal square box you just pinch the whole article out and replace it with the know one the only entry you would be doing is the wireing.
