Can rubber roofing materials , be use for a reshape pond liner.?

Answers:    Yes rubber roofing materials can be used to line your pond. The material that you are looking for is call EPDM and is available at most commercial roofing supply houses such as Allied, ABC, or Bradco. However I would suggest if you know a roofer that he or she purchase it for you otherwise you will pay list price. These rolls come within 10x50 foot and 10x100 foot rolls. It is available in 030 and 045 mil thicknesses. Either one will work. I used to represent a manufacturer that made this textile and often sold it to lanscaping centers for this purpose. Manufacturers of this material are but not restricted to GAF, Firestone, Carlisle, and Genflex. Out of all of these the Genflex was other more econimically priced however only Firestone and Carlisle have the plants that create this material and re-sell it to the other manufacturers for private labeling so simply it is all the same stuff.
If you are competent to seal it so water cannot overflow away, it should work OK.
