i am currently fitting a kitchen and have took out my out-of-date electric cooker and replaced it with a electric follower oven. the closest electric connection is the the infirm fuse box which is a 6mm wire on a 30amp MCB can i fit a juction box and spure sour this to the oven and the over head extractor lover on a 2.5mm wire and what size isolation switch do i necessitate. should i get 2 13 amp isolation switches for both. appreciation for any help
Answers: yes you can do it exactly as you state you wont really call for the two 13 amp isolation switches but it will be safer you will probably get a electrican coming on here and describing you no but they are only trying it on. it is fairly obvious you know exactly what you are doing so near should be no problems
I agree with the suggestion to translation your MCB down to a 13 amp
to mighty mouse nearly all lover oven made today run off a 13 amp socket outlet. and 40 amp ovens go out with ark
if i be you i would get a qualified spark contained by to do it, if you live in the uk , you cant do that legaly by yourself
