Can I paint over masonite wall board surrounded by a bathroom? It feel slick, approaching wallpaper. Thought give or take a few latex primer

Answers:    It sounds like the "STICKY" may be residue from doesn`t matter what, unless it once had contact thesis over? Which would still be defined as residue. Is the masonite tempered? Do you possibly know?

The issue beside primer would be acceptable, but I suggest you make out WHAT the sticky is first, and try to resolve that.

Kilz and Zinser, both make characteristic primers, in both grease and water basis. Not knowing at all your intent, after the reality, it might help us to know, near regard to the paint formulation you intend as a finish.

Just my two "sense"
what you call for to do is use killz2 premium primer, it will adhear to any surface no matter how slick it is..i would recommend the latex primer because it is cleaner and have less of an odor, you can pick it up at any hardware store for more or less $17. after that paint away!
