Can i dust my wall lights to a plug socket as i enjoy no land on my standard lamp circuit?
Unless the box is grounded there's no point.
It would work contained by practice, but it would not comply with regulations.
You'd be better to update your wiring on your lighting circuit to bring it up to spec.
Answers: If you're certain you have a ground at your plugs merely because it has a ground prong hole does't mean you enjoy a ground connected to it.Remove the outet and see if you have a green or solid copper wire atatched to the screw in the back after it is possible otherwise you're accomplishing nothing by doing it
