We bought an amazing new grill and are wondering to do beside our old one excluding throwing it out. The burner is shot and we can't find a replacement one but the rest of it is structurally sound I lately want to know how to turn it into a charcoal grill or a bbq smoker...I had thought in the region of lining the bottom beside ceramic tiling, but I don't dream up that will supply proper air flow...any suggestions?
Answers:    simply take the burner out and put the charcoal surrounded by. we have done this too.
Just bring in sure about how the ashes spatter out the bottom .....some are pretty open and may start a fire below if you aren't discreet but I have done this back too. It is not perfect because its knotty to make a flare up travel out by closing the top because its designed to have plenty of nouns in the firebox. Regular Grill designed for charcoal have better air control.
