I have window in my dining room that hold bars on them. I didn't put the bar there, this is a place that I'm renting. I would approaching to install an air conditioner but next to the bars nearby, I don't see how the air conditioner would fit. Other than removing the bar, which is not an option, is in that any other way to install an AC? Do they kind ACs that don't have that voluminous back?
They make free standing AC unit that have a 6" tube that can be stuck contained by a window hole. They usually have a piece that the tube snaps into that is to say adjustable for the window passage.

SEARS carries a portable one that vent out through a window but it's sort of resembling a dryer vent with the surrounds. It's pricey...resembling $500, but most of the product reviews were pretty angelic and you can roll it from one room to another.
I don't know of any a/c unit that doesn't vent to outside because they put stale cool air contained by one direction (inside) and HOT air contained by the other (outside).
Another thought is to contact your landlord or property running company handling the house and see if they'll install one for you if you buy it.
Answers:    There are portable nouns conditioners that sit on the floor with a massive tube that can be placed in the glass to blow out the hot air.
