I can't believe this.I haven't used it in almost a year. Went out today, released the saw, raised it, loosed the foot screw in front in preparation for shifting the angle of the cut and it won't change. Unfortunatly I can't find the manual and can't remember if near is another release to adjusting the angle.
Does anyone know if I'm missing something? I suppose it may just be stuck but I antipathy to force anything without knowing I'm not forcing it to do something it's not meant to do and break it.
Isn't there a set screw that locks it contained by place in addition to the clip that fits into an indent? The release tab is underneath the black hand screw.Lift it up and it will move.
many models...but mine u unscrew the handle/knob a few turns and here is a metal bar/handle right under the knob...press up on it has u hold the button and it should release.u might need to put some WD40 on it too.

Answers: There is merely the screw handle in front and the lever below that, that you verbs up to change the degree when the screw knob is loosened. It might be a moment ago stuck from not being used.
pull the lever up
