Any design for covering a fanlight contained by my shower? I just moved into a lease home. In my master bath,...
I just moved into a lease home. In my master bath, in attendance is a huge 45 " x 45.5" frosted window. The thing is, that while taking a shower, I notice that I could see some details outside a little more clearly than I thought I should. A few days later, I have my roommate stand in the shower while I went around outside... and holy cow!! I could see at first her outline clear as light of day, then she leaned closer and I could see the design on her t-shirt and the color of her eyes. I was momentarily mortified. Since this is a lease house, I entail a good temporary thought for covering that window up so I can take private showers!
The hooks from 3M could hold up a vinyl shower curtain you may have to cut it to size for your window. yes my binoculars hehe
you can carry waterproof roller blinds
I bought a great vinal accordian style window shade at Home Depot that you can in actuality have cut to size. It is vinal so it is water proof and it comes beside double sided tape so you can just coating and stick it up inside the window frame. It cost me only more or less 10 dollars. I was worried at first that it might get mildew from the shower but I enjoy had it up for a year and it still looks like brand new! I found it amongst the paper shades that you can cut with scissors. i would suggest discussion to the owner and seeing if he/she would mind if you bought some "opaque-ish" window film to put on it. i suggest thats something that everyone should want to have in the glass while they're taking a shower id think. if the owner say no, ask if he has any other ideas to cover up the skylight.
Hi, capably, LOL, first tell the landlord who may allow a more permenant fix! If the cup window has a smooth surface I suggest you use a can of spray paint (mask it rotten and don't paint the frames) perhaps the same color as the exterior. Or, paint the inside. You can also find skylight frosting and simply add more frosting to the glass. If the skylight frame and sill (bottom) provide enough space, you can place glass blocks surrounded by a frame, caulk between blocks and the frame and simply place it in the window on the shower side. You could also use a piece of exterior plywood the size of the pane, paint it with kills and gum on any wall covering, tile or a shower rack to hold soaps and shampoos. You also might try using an old shower curtain on a rod. There's a thousand ways to do it, have fun!
You should cover the frosted chalice with a shower curtain as as the frosting gets drizzling it becomes transparent, try it by spraying water on it. You will stipulation to find a simple way of supporting the shower curtain maybe a spring loaded shower pole it should not cost too much. righteous luck They sell this wavy cup at Home Depot, Actually it's just plastic, but they'll cut it for you. have them cut it to 44-1/2 X 45-1/4 and maintain it in place with some little picture frame hooks or small screw.
You can buy contact paper meant for window that is (eventually) removeable. Some of the patterns are more concealing than others! I hold seen them at Home Depot and Lowe's - they come in rolls. I'm not sure if you'd necessitate to take extra measures to ensure they don't become loosened by the steam, though. You can at least try it, for $5- $10 a roll.
What are associates thinking, putting big windows in showers anyway? LOL.
Cut a dark plastic trash purse and tape it to the window. Good Luck! they enjoy a privacy window film
strip and stick
it kinda looks like stained glass
can be removed
try lowes
Answers: Go to home depot they hold these cool window coverings, they just stick to the glass and peel right stale. I have used them as fish tank funding. They have many designs and street light will still come trhough but if you get one with satisfactory pattern it should solve your problem.
