Any electricians out in attendance? I've got an external pale switch I want to use, I have...

I've got an external pale switch I want to use, I have standard 1.5 lighting telecommunication, with live, land and nuteral. But the switch on has and soil, and two conectors, one which has 'L' and the other have 'L1'.
Obviously one is earth the other go to the light (which have earth, live and nuteral conectors).
So please what go where, and if the live go to 'L' and the live to the light go to 'L1', what do I do with the nuteral???
I may stipulation a bit more info here. How many wires total within the switch box? If there are single 3 - live earth and dull, then the indeterminate is being used as the switch leg to the table lamp. If there are 6 - 2 live, 2 nonpartisan and 2 earth, later land one live on one screw. Land the other live, which is really a switch leg, on the L1. Wirenut the 2 neutrals together as resourcefully as the earths. Loop one of the land wires around the green screw on the switch to make sure it is economically grounded.

i believe l is to the line l1 is to nouns i may be reversed but that is why two l markings vein and load

Answers:    Take a look at the connectors themselves. One of the screw should be a silver color and the other a gold color. The silver is the power ( black wire) and the gold ingots is the neutral (white wire). I hope this help you.
