I want to install the breaker box inside the building and provide the feed from the meter. From that point forward I want to install the wiring myself.
Answers: Before you do anything you involve to check into getting a permit.
I don't know where you live but a voucher is usually a requirement and then you have to contact your utility company to hold your power turned off to install your box. This isn't a job for a recruit.
You could easily get within over your head if you're not experienced.
My advice is do some more research up to that time going forward with this project.
Install the breaker box FIRST! Pull the meter before running the drop wires to the breaker box! This is a MUST!! Pulling the meter will annihilate the power to the drop poles in the meter socket so that you can install the drop leads to the breaker box lacking getting killed!
