The electrical receptacle is on a plasterboard wall, the back of which is within a closet. I want to place another electrical recptacle in that closet, and would approaching to use the electrical connection explicitly already on the wall.

Thus, I would have 2 electrical receptacle back to stern.

Can this be done? I'm fairly handy, and can do it myself next to a little back from my friends.
Answers:    Go to Lowe's or HD and get an 'OLD WORK BOX'. Cut a hole within the wall directly behind the existing outlet. You will own to move it up or down the height of the box as the the boxes probably won't fit rear legs to back. Run jersey wires from the existing plug to the new plug. Bingo...electric outlet within the closet. An hour to hour and a half and smaller number than $20.00.
Just remember to turn off the power when you start connecting things.
if it doesnt work you can single blow a fuse or use another receptical wired through the attic down to your closet or through the crawl space and back up to the closet.
