Abaqus-tell abaqus not to allow buckling? hi, i am modelling a simple 3D I-beam section, next to pressure...

hi, i am modelling a simple 3D I-beam section, next to pressure applied on top flange. how to tell abaqus that if i do not allow the strut to buckle? please advice.
I hold an frail 6.0 amp craftsman 1/2"...

Actually u can do this by constraining the model (in ur case beam) along the direction i.e for example if u enjoy x-y co-ordinate system where x axis is the size of the beam and y axis is the length. Then apply constraint along Ux=0; This will spawn the translation along x to be zero. In this process the beam would not buckle.
