I am looking at the 6" Craftsman professional jointer and the 6" Grizzly jointer. Now there are some differences, but looking at the photo's it seem like the basic component (the big cast iron parts) of respectively of these jointers came from like peas in a pod factory or at least alike design. I would assume this is true as many things are resembling this. They are the same up until putting the brand label on them. It appears that they Craftsman has a 1.5 hp motor vs. the 1hp on the Grizzly. The Grizzly have a nice movable base selection though. Any thoughts or experiences on either of the brands or if you believe they are pretty much the same. As a side, the final price is exchangeable.
