For an diction wall, try colours like maybe some different shades of blue.

Or hot pink, lime green, white, black, conceivably even yellow. It all depends on close to what type of designs you want.

And try maybe a zebra bean bag bench or some black curtains and white alarm clock. Lolx. Spitting some ideas.

The turquoise sounds like a nice color to step with this, but I'm not sure about the diction wall-I think you'll have ample going on with the zebra and turquoise.
