Yellow paint over Pink Paint? My room is like a soft pink color. its not hot pink....

My room is like a soft pink color. its not hot pink. its like a soft mixture of fluffy purple and light pink. I want it to be yellow immediately. So can I paint over the pink with yellow? Or do I enjoy to paint it white first?
You'll be fine painting yellow over soft pink, it should cover regardless. Its OK to paint over the pink. It may run two coats depending on the quality of paint
Depends on how well the yellow paint covers. Some paint is sticky enough to cover in one coat whereas others require two or three coats. The white coat you're chitchat about would be a primer right? Primers insure that most paints will cover in one or two coats. you can newly paint the wall without primer. you must be a really outgoing, excited, happy individual to go for the yellow and that's cool. i wonder what colors are your frills
Answers:    You need to pain a primer over it first. The pink will come thru eventually. If you dont use a primer first you will be using heaps many cans of sickly to cover it!
It doesn't sound as if you necessitate to prime - and I don't unless I absolutely have to! Paint over it, it will be fine. A Yellow room.hmmm
