what can i do to take it rotten?
Answers:    what did you want to do with afterwards?were you going to repaint it ?if so you would not want to strip it just sand it smooth and repaint.if you left it after stripping it would rust.
Stripper would work, but why shift to all of the trouble? Any time you strip painted metal all the style down to the bare metal you expose it to the moisture in the atmosphere. This can cause rusting or problems with the modern paint adhering to the piece. If the existing finish is in flawless condition use it as your base. Sand lightly, prime and paint. If the current finish have a texture that you do not like or has rust showing through you will hold to deal with those issues past you can paint. I have had abundantly of luck with spray paint on metal. There are a couple of companies that make obedient product especially for use on metal. Krylon and Rustoleum are just a couple that make spray on or brush on paints for metal.
