Window clings wont cling!? ok, i bought window clings for holiday decor, and the darn things...

ok, i bought window clings for holiday decor, and the darn things freshly wont stay! The window clings i'm discussion about are the ones that are made of Vinyl and are supposed to stick to the glass using static. We used some for Halloween and they stuck with no problem, but these ones are a moment ago plain stubborn. If anyone has tricks or concept on how to fix it, please feel free to answer

try washing your porthole with lukewarm hose and then wash the back of the clings, next stick it.
