Will the highlites surrounded by granite countertops become more prevelant and visable over time? I was at the granite warehouse and be looking at two pieces...

I was at the granite warehouse and be looking at two pieces of granite. They are the same type of granite, though they are not from matching lot. One has more gold ingots highlites in it than the other, but the saleswoman said that surrounded by time and with exposure to sunlight, that the one that looks mostly black will eventually turn into looking close to the other one. Basically that the one that doesnt have the highlites will also get hold of the gold highlites contained by it eventually.

My question is not if they will ever game, ie the one catching up with the other, as i dont involve more than one slab so its one or the other.

They are already sealed, and will be used as countertops surrounded by a kitchen. There will be a substantial amount of natural hurricane lantern because of the kitchens proximity to a large sandbank of dual sliding glass doors, and logically the window over the sink.

Can any body shed some feathery on this for me. (bad pun)

Thank you.
Answers:    i would think they would darken next to age not lighten....i would buy the prettiest one very soon...because if what she says is true...the one near the hightlights now will one and only be enhanced right or wrong?
ours didn't. but i'm curious as well sense they are nearly 6 years old contained by our house.
