I've got a post to do and it includes painting rush work baskets.
Now will this be effective?

There within use as drawers from a chest.

Will this wear well?
Im thinking of sprayng them any type of paint or prepration that desires to happen first?

Answers:    I suggest you spray paint them near plastikote or similar to avoid adhesions between the bamboo elements, it will give you a much cleaner available job than attempting to paint them using a brush.
